The Best of the Independents

Fantastic news! The Angel Makers has been picked by Borders to go into its 'Best of the Independently Published' bays! So hopefully in the next week or so you should be able to go straight into a Borders store and The Angel Maker by Jessica Gregson will be facing you - willing you to pick it up and buy it!

It really is a fantastic story - so if you haven't read it yet and you are keen to know how you can put an end to your problems with fly paper and arsenic then you really should pick up a copy!

The German Edition - The Angel Makers!

We have just received catalogues from Kindler (Rowohlt Verlag GmBH) for the German edition of The Angel Makers by Jessica Gregson - how exciting!

It looks very different to our version but I love it - gives it a totally different feel!

Isn't it amazing how different interpretations of books result in totally different jackets!

Justice Bird has made my day again!

Well apparently the photos I took weren't good enough and just didn't the books justice. My far more techy colleague took the camera away from me and took some photos which, well, they do look a lot better...

I cannot CANNOT wait for the author Jon Haylett to see finished copies of his book as they look absolutely fantastic! I hope you manage to get on-line whilst you are away on your hols Jon and see this post because we are so excited over here!

(The photos don't really do the deep embossing and the gold foil justice nor does the blurry effect where my hand is shaking holding the camera because I am so excited!)

Just to let you know as requested I found book Number 99 at Picadilly Fountain London last thursday morning at approximately 10:50am (8th June). Id like to say thankyou very much for the book and quite frankly I thought I was on candid camera they way I approached it and stole it away! All came to light when I read the leaflet that you left wrapped around it. Ive not read it yet, but am very interested that the author being so young has had such an eventful and interesting life.

I found a copy of “The Angel Makers” with a note inside saying to e-mail you to let you know I found it. Well, it’s found a good home. The book looks really interesting. The book cover said it was based on a true story, so I looked it up on the web and it sounds incredible.

Foreign Rights Galore!!

We are excited to announce that we have now sold rights to The Angel Makers in over ten countries and are really excited by the possibility of seeing this book in all kinds of languages with so many different types of covers! I am at the moment just trying to imagine it all in Japanese!
